Article: Red Sox, Sea Dogs announce four-year contract extension

PORTLAND - The Boston Red Sox and Portland Sea Dogs have announced the extension of their player development contract for an additional four years, through the 2012 season.

Red Sox Vice President of Player Personnel Ben Cherington and Sea Dogs President and General Manager Charlie Eshbach made the announcement Monday afternoon at Hadlock Field.
