BREWER - The Maine Institute for Human Genetics and Health, a
subsidiary of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems, has announced the
establishment of a scientific advisory board.
The board is made up of nationally recognized scientists and
professors with expertise in research focusing on human cancer
studies. Members will serve staggered three-year terms.
The board members are:
. Dr. Lee Helman, board chairman, scientific director of the
Center for Clinical Research and head of the molecular oncology
section at the National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Md.
. Dr. Stanley Bergen of Stonington, a member of the EMHS board of
directors and former founding director of the NCI Cancer Institute of ...
