OLD TOWN - Red Shield Environmental LLC, owner of the former
Georgia-Pacific Corp. mill, has made the final payment on a $230,000
loan given to it last year by the city.
"This loan was a high risk, but good faith effort on the part of
the city to assist Red Shield in the purchase of the former Georgia-
Pacific mill site," City Manager Peggy Daigle wrote earlier this week
