Article: Traffic delays on Route 2 project a concern

OLD TOWN - It's difficult to drive recently in the Greater Bangor area without getting stuck in some sort of road construction, and commuters traveling over the bridge from Old Town to Milford shouldn't expect to see much relief in the next few weeks.

Traffic over the temporary bridge that carries Route 2 traffic over the Penobscot River has been reduced to one lane periodically while crews work on the roadway approach on the Old Town side. Cars reportedly have been lined up all the way to Hannaford Supermarket, according to one resident at Monday night's Old Town Council meeting.
