MILLERSBURG -- Infrastructure, health care and an educated work
force are three of the main issues facing Holmes County, according to
local government and economic leaders in a roundtable meeting with
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, on Tuesday.
"I want to learn about Holmes County," Brown said. "I also learned
a long time ago in politics that communities this size don't get a
lot of attention paid to them in Washington."
Brown met with county commissioners, business leaders, school
leaders, health care representatives and elected officials to get a
better perspective on the issues and services that need to be
addressed in Holmes County.
