Books can help children, teens deal with fear, confusion

On the morning of Sept. 11, more American lives were lost than at Pearl Harbor, D-Day or the Oklahoma City bombing.

Now, in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks, red, white and blue can be seen everywhere and many children must say goodbye to their military mothers and fathers called up in the wake of the terrorist attakcs.

While dealing with their own feelings, parents and teachers have had to determine how to deal with the impact of these events on young children and teens.
