Downtown getting added entertainment outlets
A triple shot for downtown development was unveiled Friday with
plans to re-open The Diner, expand dance clubs at The Asylum and
Parallax and add a 1,000-person capacity energy bar on Monument
Avenue.
The company behind the development is Babylon Inc.
Bob Sussman, president and chief executive, said, `This is one of
the best downtowns you could be in. What's going on is incredible,
and we hope to make the nightlife as good.'
The Diner, which operated most recently as Roxy's Diner, will re-
open as a supper club called Steel. He hopes for a June opening, if
not sooner. The business has been leased for five years, and Sussman
