Article: WRESTLING; ARROWS' PFEIFFER PUTS BEST FOOT FORWARD-

If you would have seen Mark Pfeiffer in junior high school you would never have expected him to be a high school wrestler - or an athlete of any kind.

"It actually started before that," Pfeiffer, a Preble Shawnee High School senior said. "All through elementary school I used to walk like this . . . with pigeon toes."

Pfeiffer, sitting at a table at Carroll High School and munching on a sandwich between wrestling matches, quickly backed his chair out and pointed his feet inward to give a visual description.

"Taught myself how to get out of that," the 171-pounder said as his teammates tried unsuccessfully not to giggle and smirk. "Struggled with it the first few years. Now I'm not half bad."
