* Mildred L. "Mickey" (Bertsch) Schmidt, a member of St. John's
Lutheran Church, died Sunday at age 95.
Mrs. Schmidt of Sidney was a sales lady for the former Burkhardt's
Shoe Store. She was a former member of the American Business Women's
Association, Women of the Moose and the Elks Club.
Survivors include her sisters, Lena Laughlin and Rowena Martz,
both of Sidney; and one niece.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today at Cromes Funeral Home,
302 S. Main Ave., Sidney. Services will follow, with burial in
Graceland Cemetery, Sidney. Condolences may be expressed at

* Beatrice F. (Middleton) Fox, a member of First United Methodist
Church, died Saturday at age 92.
