Medical journal urges adults to take preventative measures

Last week, Lynn Rogers of Waynesville went to buy her first bottle of vitamin supplements at Health Foods Unlimited in Miamisburg. Rogers was diagnosed with cancer in June, and she now plans to make a lot of changes in her eating habits, including taking a multivitamin suggested by her physician.

But doctors are not just recommending vitamins for patients like Rogers, who have been diagnosed with an illness.
