PLAYWRIGHT Bruce Clarke works as an attorney with the public
defenders' office, which goes some way toward explaining the gritty
authenticity of his play "Bluesman," which is a world premie`re at
Source Theatre.
"I talked to Bruce after work last night," says Source artistic
director Pat Sheehy. "And he had just found out who the real murderer
was in some case he was working on. And I said, `Coming to the
theater must be an anticlimax for you after what you do all day.' "
"No, really, I find the theater far more exciting," Clarke says.
