My wife is from northeastern Ohio and most years around Thanksgiving we go back there to visit friends and family of hers. I must admit that even though I go along, I don't always enjoy the long ride and all the visits she tries to work into our schedule.

But one thing I do enjoy is the opportunity to get fresh cheese.

My favorite is Swiss cheese. I must admit that most of the year I buy cheese at the local supermarket and it has a good supply of Swiss. But there is something special about Swiss cheese made in northeastern Ohio.
