DAYTON - Jason Burkhardt, freshly turned 21 but loaded with perspective, believes he already has found his lifetime ambition.

The karate star from Ground Level Fitness Center in Harrison Twp. has settled in as an instructor in martial arts and, when it comes to teaching, he gets a ringing endorsement from the man who has trained him since he was 12.

Trainer/coach Dave Zuk of Ground Level, founder of the Young Americans program in Ohio, calls the Neighbors Athlete of the Week "a natural teacher who has a wonderful rapport with his students. I'm proud to have him in my program."
