Former C-J star provides leadership for struggling Irish

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - When Megan Duffy talks, Notre Dame listens.

At least members of the school's basketball team do.

The former All-Ohio point guard from Chaminade-Julienne High School may be just a freshman, but she has taken over the perennial Big East power's court show with a veteran's flair.

"I didn't expect her to be able to come in and direct the upper classmen," coach Muffet McGraw said on Thursday. "We really needed the leadership she gave.
