Former C-J star provides leadership for struggling Irish
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - When Megan Duffy talks, Notre Dame listens.
At least members of the school's basketball team do.
The former All-Ohio point guard from Chaminade-Julienne High
School may be just a freshman, but she has taken over the perennial
Big East power's court show with a veteran's flair.
"I didn't expect her to be able to come in and direct the upper
classmen," coach Muffet McGraw said on Thursday. "We really needed
the leadership she gave. Most of the time when freshmen come in
they've got a lot to learn. She's got all the attributes. She's not
afraid to tell people when they're in the wrong spot. They listen . .
