Dayton begins southern swing
FAIRBORN - Jim Leger has played for an NCAA champion and an
American Hockey League Calder Cup runner-up.
His current situation resembles neither of those. He is with the
East Coast Hockey League Dayton Bombers, in last place in the
Northwest Division.
"The record shows this is a bad team on the ice," Leger said prior
to a three-game Southern road trip to Pee Dee (Florence, S.C.)
tonight, Charlotte, N.C., Friday and Columbia, S.C., on Saturday.
"Individually, we have a very talented team. This is a good team.
When I was at Johnstown, it's not like we beat Dayton 8-0."
