It happens all the time, and the accident in Reston was typical-a
teen-age male driver at the wheel of a hot IROC-Z Camaro lost control
on a twisty road and was killed. Such tragic, simple stories are
endlessly repeated across the nation as young drivers become the
victims of exuberance and a sense of immortality.
"Automobile accidents account for half of all deaths of those who
are age 16 to 22," says Brian O'Neill, president of the Insurance
Institute for Highway Safety.
