`DDN' just trying to create ruckus

THE DAYTON DAILY NEWS IS POURING GASOLINE on the embers of racial division in order to sell more newspapers.

While Dayton Mall management is trying to solve a real problem in an equitable manner, the DDN front-page story on Aug. 7 includes the charge that the new policy is racist. Meanwhile, a story about how reaction to the policy is positive is buried back on Page A8.

Then, in the Aug. 10 paper, Mike Peters' cartoon criticizes the mall management, rather than those responsible for the trouble.

Really, do you want to create a ruckus in order to sell more papers while the Dayton Mall goes the way of the Salem ...
