ARREST CUTS PUBLIC INDECENCY

DAYTON - A mid-October arrest has slowed the rate of public indecency complaints on and around the University of Dayton, although students still are advised to walk in pairs in well-lighted areas at night, UD law officers said Monday.

UD police have received 14 complaints of public indecency since the school year began in late August, a rate similar to previous years, Public Safety Director Bruce Burt said.

Robert C. Adkins of 2208 Wayne Ave. was arrested Oct. 13 and charged with four counts of public indecency and two counts of criminal trespass involving incidents near Marycrest Hall on campus.
