DRIVER HURT WHEN CAR HITS HOUSE

TROTWOOD - A motorist was injured New Year's Eve when her car slammed into a house at 4938 Wolf Creek shortly before midnight, Trotwood police said. The driver was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital. No other information was available Thursday.

LUMBER YARD VIOLATIONS FOUND

NEW KNOXVILLE - Federal regulators have found several safety violations at the lumber company where a silo explosion occurred Oct. 1, although none contributed to the blast that killed two volunteer firefighters.
