On the day Wendy's unveiled its new line of chicken sandwiches, I sampled all three.

The most impressive was the new Ultimate Grilled Chicken Sandwich. It's a real chicken breast fillet, a full 5 ounces, and it gets the benefit of a leaf of ideally crisp romaine and tomato, all on a new Kaiser bun. What sets the sandwich apart is the sauce, with subtle hints of chipotle chile and faint notes of honey - with just 7 grams of fat.

The whole sandwich with sauce has only 360 calories, earning it a thumbs-up for healthier eating. Only the sodium, 1,100 mg, is on the high side.
