With both averages in the 4s, Beaulieu is doing well

CENTERVILLE - Keeping his batting average above his grade-point average has been a constant challenge during the high school baseball season for Robby Beaulieu.

Especially considering the Centerville High School senior is one of the area's top student-athletes.

Beaulieu carries a 4.48 GPA in college prep courses. He will graduate 11th out of 606 seniors.

An outfielder for the 23-3 Elks, he will take a .464 batting average into today's Division I regional semifinals vs. defending state champion Cincinnati St. Xavier at Miami University.
