Residents, officials let their wishes be known

WEST CARROLLTON - Developing the city's riverfront and preserving the former Woody's Market rated high on residents' wish lists Wednesday night as they considered West Carrollton's potential for economic growth.

About 30 residents attended a public forum at the West Carrollton Civic Center to discuss economic development in conjunction with planned improvements to the Moraine/West Carrollton interchange of Interstate 75.

Janet Collinsworth, who grew up in West Carrollton, said she would like to see the city take advantage of its opportunities as Springboro has in preserving its downtown.
