Article: South-area students earn honors in Sinclair writing contest

The English Department at Sinclair Community College has announced
the winners of its annual Creative Writing Contest, and three area
students were named. Kettering Middle School student Danielle
Dobeleit earned honorable mention in the middle school/junior high
category for My Special Hero.
In the high school category, Whitney Saleski of Oakwood High
School earned second place for American War Stories, and Tyler
Benedict of Miami Valley School in Washington Twp. won third place
for Fallen Hero.
Authors will be recognized at an awards ceremony May 16.
