TIPP CITY -- Skirmishes over the best location for a veterans
memorial continue.
The city's parks advisory board last week agreed to have a
subcommittee meet again with memorial supporters to try to select the
most appropriate site.
The meeting after the new year brought two new members to the five-
member advisory board. One new member, former councilman Keith
Kingrey, said despite vocal support for a memorial at a new park
being designed for the southeast corner of Hyatt and Main streets, he
thinks other options need more serious consideration.
