Sometimes the treasures found in thrift stores are the people. That can be said about

Peg Hadden,

a founder of the Clothesline who has helped hundreds of people find clothing. The resident of Tipp City also has designed and found costumes for high school and civic theater groups and been involved with schools and community groups. It shouldn't come as a surprise that last year, when Tipp City residents were asked for nominations for the Tipp City Area Chamber of Commerce's citizen of the year, several singled out Hadden.

"It tells you how she's touched so many different lives," said Tipp City resident Darlene McClurg, one of the people who nominated Hadden.
