I had one of those priceless moments last night.
I heard a call coming down from my son Joshua's room: "Mom, come
here. Hurry, please!"
I knew he'd been working on, or, should I say, scheming about,
something. So I took the bait and ran right into his room. As I
entered, a loud, startling alarm went off -- and so did my son's
laughter. I wish I had a camera to catch the look on his face that
said, "Gotcha, Mom!"
I'd just set off an alarm he'd set with the Lazer Trip Wire
($19.99, Wild Planet Toys), a gadget he got for Chanukah. Wild
Planet, a toy manufacturer with some innovative products, has an
entire line of spy gear that's taking kids by storm.
