DAYTON -- Time is of the essence for the Dayton Ballet, which will
end its 69th season this week with a major premiere called There Was
a Time.
It's about a brother and sister from a typical American family who
choose different sides during the Vietnam war and follow different
paths into the postwar era.
The all-instrumental rock score was composed just for this
production. None of the following songs from that time period are
part of it, but they got us thinking because they all have "time" in
the title. But they can help turn back the pages as we spend a few
minutes on
There Was a Time.
