MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County -- The Dayton Mall's new open-air
retail and restaurant center will open this fall, bringing 25 stores
and restaurants to the region.
The bulk of construction is complete on The Village, the area's
newest shopping addition going up at Ohio 725 and Ohio 741 in Miami
Twp.
Dayton Mall owner Glimcher Realty Trust in Columbus started the
$30 million overhaul of the 1970s-era mall in July 2005, not long
after plans for The Greene in Beavercreek were announced by developer
Steiner & Associates of Columbus.
The Greene's late-August opening has had little effect on sales at
the Dayton Mall, which sees 8 million customers ...
