TIPP CITY -- The Veterans Memorial Committee is back in the brick sales business after hearing Monday that the design of the veterans memorial and walkway at the new city park at Hyatt and Main streets can accommodate more than 5,000 bricks.

The committee raising money for the veterans memorial had suspended sales of the engraved bricks in the past couple of weeks while waiting for a number on how many bricks measuring 4 inches by 8 inches (at $50 each engraved) and 8 inches by 8 inches (at $200 each) would fit in the proposed veterans memorial section of the park.
