KETTERING -- Claims from Air Force personnel worldwide who have
had personal property damaged during relocation moves are being
processed at a Kettering center that is to receive a visit Friday
from Air Force Secretary Michael Wynne.
The Air Force Claims Service Center handles processing of claims
filed online from base personnel throughout the service. It has
replaced the prior system of paperwork filing and can reduce to weeks
or days, rather than months, the processing interval for each claim,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base spokesman Derek Kaufman said
Wednesday.
The center is unique worldwide in its mission of handling personal
property claims previously filed at Air Force legal bases ...
