CENTERVILLE -- Last year a 7-year-old boy and his grandmother stopped to get lemonade at 5-year-old McKenzie Howard's lemonade stand in front of her Maple Avenue home.

When they learned the money collected from the lemonade and homemade cookies and brownies would go toward finding a cure for kids with cancer, the boy went home and returned with his entire piggy bank, said Erica Howard, McKenzie's mom.

McKenzie's lemonade stand at 205 Maple Ave., just a block off North Main Street behind Bill's Donut shop, will be back in business, complete with coloring area for kids, from 11 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Last year, one cup at a time, McKenzie, now 6, raised $1,500 for Alex's Lemonade Stand ...
