Article: Funds set for Veterans Memorial area Leftover money will be used to help with Tipp's Hyatt and Main park project.

TIPP CITY -- The Veterans Memorial Committee said it has the money for features it proposed for the Veterans Memorial Park's memorial area, and will work with the city on other park elements with any dollars left once the memorial area is completed.

The committee last week released a list of "talking points" on the memorial project at Hyatt and Main streets after the city said it will be about $100,000 short if all elements requested by the community or the park are done.

As a result, the city said the project will be done in phases to complete around $250,000 in proposed work.
