Article: Fraud office asked to probe $17m health board deal

THE SERIOUS FRAUD OFFICE will be asked to investigate a series of deals at one of our biggest health boards after an internal audit report into questions over a $17 million deal with its biggest supplier.

The report, ordered by the Auckland District Health Board, says its two leading executives were compromised by their connections to their health board's main supplier.
