BELLA BLISSETT
MY NAME is Bella and I am blonde, love pink and have no problem
with cosmetic surgery. You might think that this makes me, at best,
a wannabe Jordan type and, at worst, complicit in the world's
conspiracy against women. Actually, I'm neither I'm just no
feminist.
It's 10 years since the Spice Girls emerged in all their high-
kicking, "Girl Power" glory. An unashamed act of branding they may
have been but what they were touting was a new, cooler brand of
feminism marketed under a different slogan.
Yet as someone who earns a living writing about fashion and
beauty, it would be hypocritical of me to wage war against the Spice
