Sir--Is Bush justified? Is his plan likely to have the desired outcomes? Are there no alternatives?

Very good friends don't let very good friends die, so it isn't "anti- American" to ask these important questions. Yet the discussion has become stuck on secret agendas: does the US President have ulterior motives? Do his opponents? Such irrelevancies need closure.
