Article: Chch lawyer censured by Law Society for role in dispute

A Christchurch lawyer has been censured by the Canterbury District Law Society after she intervened in an employment dispute involving her husband and Christchurch's Richmond Fellowship.

Ferne Bradley was ordered to pay $500 towards the law society's costs after it investigated a complaint she had threatened two Richmond board members during the dispute involving her husband, Paul Bradley.

Mr Bradley was the fellowship's human resources director but was disciplined by the organisation after he was accused of defaming a board member in a letter. He no longer works for Richmond, but the organisation is pursuing an outstanding grievance against him through the Employment Relations Authority.
