The elite athletes may be grabbing the spotlight but it is the age- group competitors who are adding the colour to the ITU Triathlon World Championships in Queenstown.

The athletes from junior to 60-plus will be competing for colours of their own when the gold, silver, and bronze medals are handed out tomorrow after the age- group races.

New Zealand's age-groupers are well placed to get this weekend's medal haul rolling and all eyes will be on world champion Terenzo Bozzone in tomorrow's junior men's race.
