Supersire Christian Cullen has a closed book next season, but his
younger brother, Julius Caesar, is raring to go.
Now rising four, Julius Caesar's race career was end by a
fractured pelvis mid-way through his juvenile racing. Julius Caesar
is a virtual replica of the great Cullen in looks.
Driver John Hay, usually reserved in his ratings, had no doubt
Julius Caesar would have been a cup horse had he been able to
continue his race career.
Craig Thornley, who also drove Julius Caesar in several trials,
rated the stallion highly.
Julius Caesar's co-owner and trainer, Brian O'Meara, said he had a
"huge" opinion of him.
