If you look closely, you'll notice the Toronto Blue Jays'
uniforms bear no resemblance to Hester Prynne's. Not a scarlet C in
sight.
Yet as Toronto's season has wound down to three-possibly
four-games against the Baltimore Orioles that will determine the
American League East championship, Standard Question 3(a) for the
Blue Jays has been: How about this club's reputation as a bunch of
chokers?

six to play and didn't clinch until the penultimate day of the
season. They then lost the best-of-seven AL Championship Series
