Super-rich tourists are driving a multimillion-dollar expansion of
New Zealand's private jet market.
Two charter airlines are upgrading or adding to their fleet to
cater to big spending tourists and corporates.
Christchurch's Pacific Jets will replace its six-seater Cessna
Citation CJ1 jet with a larger eight-seat CJ3 version after entering
the market just 15 months ago.
Air National in Auckland is is in the final stages of buying an
older eight to 10-seater Westwind II jet to go with the long-range
Gulfstream IV it operates on behalf of film director Peter Jackson.
