Q. I have two Konica SLRs, an Autoreflex T and an Autoreflex TC,
with 28mm, 52mm and 135mm lenses. Both bodies have experienced meter
problems and have been repaired several times. Although I have had
good pictures with this equipment, recurrent mechanical problems and
my difficulty in obtaining good pictures under difficult situations,
such as backlighting, have led me to think I should change to a
camera with a better metering system. Most of my pictures are
slides, made on vacation and trips overseas several times a year.
Further, in the past I have missed good pictures because of my
inability to change lenses quickly enough. I imagine that zoom
lenses would help this, but I'm not sure ...
