Real estate agents -- we've all seen then putting up For Sale
signs down the street, shaking hands at open homes, or smiling out
from letterbox fliers and newspaper ads.
If you are selling your home, how do you find a good agent; if you
are buying, what should you expect from those you deal with?
What the law says
The real estate industry is regulated by the Real Estate Agents
Act, which says anyone selling real estate professionally must
complete an approved training course and be approved by the Real
Estate Agents Licensing Board.
