Hot roasters
Fancy a top brew? Then it pays to start with the right roasted
product. New Zealand's best coffee roasts were decided at the New
Zealand Coffee Festival in North Harbour last weekend. Sixty-five
roasting companies entered more than 200 blends for blind-taste
judging in several categories. The Supreme Award for the best roasted
coffee went to Orb coffee, a cafe coffee brand produced by Cerebos
Gregg's, for its Orb 101 blend.
The most successful brand in terms of medal numbers was Auckland's
Altezano, which won one gold and three silver medals.
