Article: Orion will accept offer for Humanware shares

Electricity network company Orion will be accepting the $10.80-a- share offer for its stake in Christchurch hi-tech company Humanware from Australian investors.

It is one of the largest shareholders in the award-winning exporter which makes electronic aids for the blind and visually impaired and its view on the acceptability of the offer is important.

Australian niche investor Jolimont Capital and some managers of Humanware are offering to buy the company from about 55 shareholders, many of whom are former and current employees and their friends.
