SAN BERNARDINO - The rumbling truck is welcomed into residential
and industrial communities alike because people know the truck will
protect them from crime.
The crime of identity theft, that is.
Shred Masters Inc., a new mobile on-site document destruction
company, opened a 1,900-square-foot facility in April.
Jeannette and Richard Martinez operate one shredding truck
throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties as well as in
Pomona.
The International service truck is 6 feet long and weighs 23,000
pounds. It is equipped with an hydraulic shredder, automatic bin
tipper, and a GPS tracking system so the office can track the
vehicle's whereabouts at all times.
