Kobe Bryant apologized to Shaquille O'Neal on television Wednesday
and would like to do so again in person for telling Eagle County,
Colo., detectives investigating the sexual assault charge against him
that O'Neal bought the silence of women.
In two interviews with ESPN, Bryant added that he would "love' to
talk with O'Neal, his teammate for eight turbulent seasons in Los
Angeles, possibly even before the Lakers and Miami Heat play a
nationally televised game Christmas Day at Staples Center.
"I would apologize for any harm that I brought him and his
family,' Bryant said. "I never intended in any way to mix him into my
troubles and difficulties that were going on at the time.
