Article: San Bernardino Credit Union has a new name

San Bernardino Credit Union has changed its name to 1st Valley Credit Union to reflect its presence in a variety of communities.

''We wanted to match the identity with what we are really doing,'' said David Dunlap, marketing and business development director.

The credit union has more than $30 million in assets and serves more than 4,000 members.

For about 10 years, the credit union has been located at 401 West 2nd St, at the corner of D and 2nd Streets.
