San Bernardino Credit Union has changed its name to 1st Valley
Credit Union to reflect its presence in a variety of communities.
''We wanted to match the identity with what we are really doing,''
said David Dunlap, marketing and business development director.
The new logo retains the familiar palm tree that has been part of
the corporate identity since at least 1980.
The credit union has more than $30 million in assets and serves
more than 4,000 members.
For about 10 years, the credit union has been located at 401 West

The credit union began in 1951 as San Bernardino City Employees
