REDLANDS - The wants and needs for the north side of town have beensummed up in 26 pages, but more than one year of thought and passionhave brought the vision to life.

On paper, that is.

The North Redlands Visioning Committee this week completed a 26- page plan for how the city's north side should bedeveloped and its historical elements preserved.

The area bounded by Colton Avenue, Church Street, Pioneer Avenue and Highway 30 is the oldest neighborhood in Redlands. Residents say age has forced a divide between the north and south sides of town, andthe north side has been long neglected.
