Article: Theater company to present two plays

Nathan Gross is passionate about all aspects of the stage - onstage, backstage, and readying young actors for it.

For Nate, artistic director of the Fictitious Theatre Company and drama teacher at San Bernardino's Arroyo Valley High School, the play is the thing.

"I am very passionate about theater," he says. "It's a collaborative art - everyone has to pitch in and use their creative talent to make a show work. I encourage it in my students and expect it out of them."

Nate is getting ready to raise the curtain on the company's summer productions, "Cyrano de Bergerac" and "Shakespeare and the City."
