Open: Tuesday through Thursday and Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Friday and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to midnight. Closed Monday. MC, V.
No reservations. Separate non-smoking section. Prices: soups and
stews $2.75 to $4.50, sandwiches $1.75 to $3.75, dinner entrees $6.25
to $8.95. Full dinner with beer, tax and tip about $10 to $15 per
person.
Before you read any further, let me unequivocally warn you: Don't
go to the Olney Ale House on a Saturday night. And maybe not on a
Friday night. It takes no reservations, and even on a cold winter
Saturday the line was out the door by 6 p.m. We had come early, but
the place was so chaotic ...
